  • Profile Data: The username you provide and your chosen avatar image or household display picture.

  • User IDs: A unique identifier generated by our authentication system (Firebase) and a unique customer identifier used by our payment processor (RevenueCat).

B. User-Generated Household Data

This is the core content you create within the app, stored on our servers (Google Cloud Firestore) to enable real-time collaboration with your household members.

  • Chore and Task Management Data: Lists of chores, custom task names, descriptions, assignments, deadlines, and completion statuses.

  • Inventory Data: Item names, descriptions, quantities, and location within the household.

  • Financial Data: Shared expense entries, private expense entries, amounts, dates, categories, and finance item descriptions.

  • Photos: Images uploaded for household identification or profile customization.

C. Technical, Diagnostic, and Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you access and use the App:

  • Approximate Location: We collect approximate location data (derived from IP addresses) for local currency formatting, timezone-based task resets, and to serve relevant advertising.

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers (e.g., Firebase Installation ID).

  • Usage Logs & Diagnostics: Time and date of access, features used, and crash reports collected via Firebase Crashlytics to help us identify and fix issues.

D. Purchase and Billing Data

While the app is currently in a testing phase with no active paid subscriptions, the following infrastructure is in place for future use:

  • App Store/Google Play: We may receive confirmation of purchase status in the future, but we do not store your credit card details or bank information.

  • RevenueCat: Used to manage account status and provides us with a purchase token to verify access to specific app features.

2. How We Use the Collected Information

vivabode. collects and uses User information for the following purposes:

  • To Run the App: To maintain your Household data and facilitate collaboration between members.

  • To Manage Accounts: To verify identity, manage login sessions, and handle account security.

  • To Process Payments: To confirm and manage potential future subscriptions via RevenueCat.

  • To Improve the App: To analyze usage patterns and diagnostic reports to enhance stability.

  • To Serve Advertising: We use data (including Device IDs and approximate location) to display relevant advertisements via third-party ad networks (AdMob).

3. How We Protect Your Information

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure of your data. All household data is stored using Google Cloud Firestore, which employs industry-standard security measures and encryption for data at rest and in transit.

vivabode. is designed for household use. While not intended for independent use by children under 13, members under this age may participate in a Household account managed by a parent or guardian.

  • Parental Consent: Collection of profile data for users under 13 is done solely based on the explicit consent of the household account owner (parent or guardian). If a parent becomes aware that a child has provided data without consent, please contact us to have it removed.

7. Your Rights (Data Access and Deletion)

You have the right to access, update, or request the deletion of your personal data.

  • Data Deletion: You can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated household data via the "Delete Account" button in the App, the "Delete Account" page on vivabode.com, or by emailing contact@valianceldn.com. We will delete all records within 30 days of a verified request.
