Valiance London Ltd ("we," "our," or "us") operates the vivabode. mobile application. This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which we collect, use, maintain, and disclose information collected from users (each, a "User," "you," or "your") of the vivabode. mobile application.

1. Information We Collect and Our Lawful Basis

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), our legal bases for processing your data are the Performance of a Contract (to deliver the collaborative household features you sign up for) and our Legitimate Interests (improving app stability and displaying ads to fund the service).

A. Personal Identifiable Information (PII)

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Account Credentials: Your email address, processed securely via Firebase Authentication.

  • Profile Data: The username you provide and your chosen profile avatar image.

  • User Identifiers: Unique identifiers generated by Firebase to track your session.

B. User-Generated Household Data

This is the core content you create within the app, stored securely on Google Cloud Firestore to enable real-time collaboration with your household members:

  • Chore and Task Management Data: Lists of chores, task names, descriptions, assignments, deadlines, and completion statuses.

  • Inventory Data: Custom item names and quantity levels, both shared and private.

  • Financial Data: Shared and private expense entries, amounts, dates, and item descriptions.

  • Photos: Shared household images uploaded for profile or household identification.

C. Technical, Diagnostic, and Usage Data

We automatically process certain analytical data when you access the App:

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and installation IDs.

  • Usage Logs & Diagnostics: Time of access, features used, and crash telemetry compiled via Firebase Crashlytics to maintain app stability.

  • Note: vivabode. does not request, track, or store your device's physical GPS location coordinates.

D. Infrastructure and Service Tokens

The app is entirely ad-supported. We do not collect, process, or store credit card details, bank information, or transactional financial billing data.

2. How We Use Collected Information

We process your data strictly for the following operational workflows:

  • To Maintain the Service: To synchronize your household dashboard, inventory levels, and shared ledgers among your invited members.

  • To Manage Identity: To safely maintain your login state and verify security credentials.

  • To Optimize Performance: To debug infrastructure errors using anonymous technical crash logs.

  • To Serve Advertising: To display contextual advertisements via third-party mobile ad networks (Google AdMob). Ad networks may utilize your device's network IP address to serve localized ad content natively.

3. How We Protect Your Information

We adopt strict data collection, storage, and processing practices alongside robust security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure of your data. All user-generated text and images are encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols within Google Cloud Firestore.

4. Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users' personal identification information to others. We share data only with the following essential third parties critical to operating the App:

6. Children's Privacy

vivabode. is built for collaborative domestic household management. While not intended for independent registration by children under the age of 13, minors may participate inside an active household network solely under the direct invite, supervision, and explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian who holds the primary account. If we learn that PII from a minor has been collected without guardian consent, we will remove it immediately.

7. Your Legal Rights (Data Access, Portability, and Deletion)

Under UK GDPR, you hold full legal authority over your data. You have the right to request access to your personal data, request a copy of your data in a portable machine-readable format, or object to specific processing.

  • Instant Deletion: You can permanently destroy your authentication profile, account records, and associated user-generated personal metrics instantly via the "Delete Account" button at the bottom of your profile page.

  • Manual Requests: You can also submit manual data queries or deletion requests via email at contact@valianceldn.com. All verified account purges are finalized across our database within 30 days.

  • Regulatory Authority: If you believe your data has been handled incorrectly, you have the statutory right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
